About us
A volunteer-run charity for young people in Cambridge
13th Cambridge Scout Group is a registered charity and part of The Scouts, the UK's largest youth movement. We run weekly Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, with Explorers in partnership with Phoenix Explorers.
Our history
[Add a short history: when the group was founded, how it came to meet at the Notts Own Scout Hut, and any milestones worth mentioning.]
Today we meet every week at the Notts Own Scout Hut on Cyprus Road, CB1 3QA, and welcome young people aged 6 to 18 from across Cambridge.
Charity status and governance
Registered charity

Trustees
The group is governed by its trustee board, which looks after finances, the hall, and compliance with charity law and Scouts policy. Our lead volunteer is Sarah Swire.

We follow the policies, rules and programme of The Scouts Association, including its safeguarding and safety requirements.
Run by volunteers
Everyone who runs our sections is an unpaid volunteer. Leaders have background checks and complete Scouts safeguarding and safety training before they start.
