Welcome to the new 13th Cambridge Scout Group website. It has been a long time coming, but we have finally released the new design to the world. Like most things new, there always going to be a few issues here or there, plus pieces of information missing – so bare with us.
With this new 13th Cambridge site, there are few new exciting things that we’d like to show off:
- Each section of the Group now has it’s own area of the web
Previously, the way the site worked, it was difficult to show lots of information about each of the sections within the group. But now, with some clever internet wizardry, we are finally able to give much larger areas where the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts can show off a lot more news, pictures and information about what they are doing. - Child & Privacy Protection is paramount
The final section of the site to be implimented is a secure, restricted area. This area of the site will be only accessible to parents and guardians of the young people in the 13th Cambridge Scout Group. It’ll house information that is deemed private to the running of the group, activity photos etc. - Keeping up-to-date on the move
The world is a busy place, so keeping up with what is going on can be difficult. This is why we have set up both a Twitter account and a Facebook page. The information on these external sites will only point back to the public information that is available on this site. However it is another way for Parents, Guardians [and Leaders] to keep informed of what is happening in the group, or changes to events.
